From here on out designs by Balmain will receive a bit of color.  The label announced that Olivier Rousteing, a French born African, will be its newest HEAD designer.  According to NY Magazine Rousteing has been a part of Balmain since 2009.  Before that he worked with Roberto Cavalli for about five-years.  Rousteing will replace Christophe Decarnin, who is rumored to be out due to mental problems.  Well we hope

We first introduced you guys to LaQuan Smith last year.  The young designer is still stirring up the fashion world with his forward collections. LaQuans Spring/Summer 2011 collection is titled Hard Candy.  His line-up features tailored mini's and body con dresses with playful names like, Tangerine Dream, Pralines & Cream, Mimosa, and Marzipan. Also within the collection we see bold pops of colors that are so popular this season such as
