Fashion Over Atlanta: The City’s New Premiere Fashion Event
We were totally stoked to participate in the First Fashion Over Atlanta this year. Usually we are always so envious when we hear of events like NY’s Fashion Crawl where industry leaders pull together to highlight great boutique shopping experiences. This year over 40 boutiques participated in the event which featured trunk shows, professional styling opportunities, and designer/celebrity appearances all over Atlanta. We had so much fun sipping sangria’s and munching on taco’s as we shopped from store to store. We absolutely adore our organic foiled Fashion Over Atlanta tee’s that were designed by Pecan Pie Couture!!
We stopped in to chat with Melissa Murdock, owner of Sandpiper (Vinings, Sandy Springs) and the visionary behind the development of Fashion Over Atlanta. We’ve been in and out of Sandpiper for years, if you haven’t visited them please add them to your list. You’ll thank us later! It’s most definitely the kind of place that you should keep in your mental Rolodex of places to find unique pieces from designers that you’ve heard of and those that you haven’t but soon will. Sandpiper offers fab boutique shopping at its best!
