Screen Actors Guild Awards..Diane Kruger wins big

This has been quite the busy season for red carpet events. The dress that Diane Kruger selected for The Screen Actors Guild Awards was just fetching.  The tightly draped off the shoulder gown was both dramatic and elegant….but what else would you expect when the gown you wear is made by Jason Wu.  The fish tail train on this dress really took it into perfection mode.   Diane took a gamble that really paid off here, because orange (some people are calling it mustard?) isn’t a color that is typically seen on the red carpet. Her red lips and hair totally balanced the look!  We love everything about this one!

Diane was the Screen Actors Guild Awards poster child for creativity and imagination.  Some however, took the safe approach and recent popular trend of wearing white.  We are almost over white, on the red carpet, and would prefer not to see so much of it on the runway in the weeks to come! Take a look at some of those who wore white!

Marion Cotillard wore a white off the shoulder knee length dress by Elie Saab.  The feathered ensemble was a good attempt but something just went wrong with this one.  Maybe this would have looked a lot better if it were a floor length dress.  We also hate the fact that she paired those Gucci shoes with the dress for the red carpet.

Dianna Agron also selected white for the awards show. We like to see some people in color and Dianna is on that color list.  We are big fans of the dress, something about the symmetry messes with our heads!

Kate Hudson showed up wearing white again….News flash to Kate we’ve seen this look on you before! Didn’t you wear white to the Golden Globe Awards? Geesh! Although we did like the dress, we just wish Kate would find another color!
